Huggish with short nothing punches thrown. Nothing much here. After getting out of the box Grimson gets an unsportsmanlike conduct when he drops his gloves to fight Berube again and Berube skates away.

Belanger got on Berube quick and really did not give the big Chief a chance to start. Down to the ice went both of them with Belanger on top and a left fist free. He threw about 5 or so landing mostly on top of Berube's helment.

After nine fights in the game (all in the last 90 seconds), Berube must have felt left out, so he tries to go with Friesen. Friesen turtles. Other Penalties: Berube received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct. Jeff Friesen did not receive a fighting major.

Berube gets two minutes for running over Tommy Salo. As soon as he gets out of the box, on his next shift, he is challenged by Brown, but doesn't accept. Laraque goes right up to Berube and off came the gloves. Berube immediately went into a defensive posture, ducking his head and holding on. Laraque throws 3 or 4 shots to the back of the head, and Berube goes down. Georges lets Berube get back up, and Laraque throws two uppercuts, which miss, and two straight left hands to the side of Berube's head, and Berube goes down again.

Berube wanted to get back at Lambert for fighting their best player, Jarome Iginla, in the last game between these two, and he did just that. Berube lands the majority of shots in this one, and gets the jersey over Lambert's head, and lands a couple of shots while Denny is blinded before the linesmen step in.

They hugged and talked along the boards, and then Low pushed Berube against them and dumped him. Low attempted a couple of quick ones as they were going down, but that's it.

A little jawing just before the face off, and the gloves come off with the drop of the puck. Typical Odgers fight, no defense. Both Odgers & the Chief throw about 20 quick, short punches with most of them hitting the target. Good quick fight.
