Comments: Beauchemin skates up and hits Iginla next to the benches while Iginla tries to play the puck up ice. The two push and shove before dropping the gloves and squaring off, each removing their helmets after a Beauchemin request. They grab ahold of each other and Beauchemin lands a quick left that sends Iginla to the ice. Iginla scrambles back to his feet and Beauchemin throws a flurry of six rights with a few landing. Iginla returns fire with an overhand right and the two then exchange punches: Iginla with rights, Beauchemin with lefts. Iginla misses with a right cross and Beauchemin loses his balance and falls to the ice, causing the linesmen to come in.
