Date Time For Against Opponent
Oct 10, 2001 2pd 08:11 NYI @ PIT Mike Wilson
Comments: Webb hit Wilson by a blueline, Wilson turned around gave Webb's stick a whack, Webb whacked back and they dropped the gloves. The two each threw about 4 or 5 punches back and forth. Wilson then landed one that sent Webb down. Wilson skated away as Webb popped back up. Neither looked like they even fought. Weird. Wilson had a 6-inch height advantage. Also: Webb wore a Jets hat during an intermission interview. Nothing to do with the fight, just a good home team thing going on.

Nov 06, 2001 1pd 01:56 @ NYI TAM Nolan Pratt
Comments: You know Webb is going to go rock 'em, sock 'em robots if he can. They do and Webb just unleashes on Pratt. Webb throws about seven before Pratt throws one. Webb connects really well with at least one, maybe three. Pratt threw some punches of his own at the end, and connected well with one of his. Other Penalties: Webb received an elbowing; Pratt an instigator and misconduct.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Nov 17, 2001 1pd 15:04 NYI @ PHO Brad May
Comments: Right off the faceoff, the gloves come off. Webb starts off with some good lefts, and they just start going toe to toe, both with lefts for about 10 seconds. May quickly switches to his right and lands an uppercut which startled Webb and a couple more rights until they both fell to the ice with May on top.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Nov 24, 2001 1pd 02:55 @ NYI ANA Kevin Sawyer
Comments: It's early in the game and Webb is lined up against Sawyer. They look like they're itching, although they don't go right away so I wasn't sure. Sawyer does go over to Cairns who is kinda blah about it. But - he doesn't even have time to consider because Webb comes in. They drop the gloves and Webb just takes Sawyer's sweater and lifts it above his head. Now it's sparring time. He throws a bunch of lefts, then switches to his right, only gets off a couple. Sawyer starts to throw wildly and looks like he's swimming. Linesmen come in to save Sawyer. With Paul Stewart as one of the 20 black and white shirts out there, I was disappointed to see an instigator called, it really wasn't that bad. Other Penalties: Webb received an instigator and misconduct.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Dec 15, 2001 2pd 03:20 @ NYI FLA Joey Tetarenko
Comments: Tetarenko's second fight of the game. Webb checks Tetarenko near the Islanders bench and they both grab on and launch the gloves (one flew pretty far). Webb throws the first one quick and it's a right that glances the side of Tetarenko's head. Webb tries to throw another right, but Tetarenko get's up his left arm and stopped it. Quick shuffling of the jerseys and Tetarenko throws a right that goes over Webb's head. Tetarenko then throws a right that hits Webb cleanly in the forehead. He then throws another that gets Webb's helmet to come back off his head. A third right in a row misses body and gets all jersey as Webb moves to his right. Tetarenko then tries for a right uppercut that appears to have landed. Webb, with his left hand, the same hand that has the neckline of Tetarenko's jersey, throws a quick jab that Tetarenko ducks his head under. Tetarenko tries to throw his right again and it goes over the top of Webb who's ducking. He then throws a right again, but ends it open-handed, trying to completely remove Webb's helmet. Another right then misses, and as he's going forward Webb throws a left that goes over Tetarenko's body, missing him as well. As they're each trying to regain their balance, Tetarenko throws two more rights, both looking as though they went over Webb's head (Webb is straightening out his body as his head was still bent down). Webb then throws a left that hits Tetarenko's shoulder, and tries to throw another. Tetarenko is leaning out of the way, and they start grappling a bit for position. Webb gets Tetarenko's jersey over his head, and Tetarenko throws one more punch that misses. Webb then lands a solid left to the blinded Tetarenko, and then another as Tetarenko starts to fall. One more punch by Webb as he starts to fall since he's still holding on to Tetarenko's jersey. Linesmen come in. Other Penalties: Robert Svehla received a roughing.

Jan 06, 2002 1pd 02:18 NYI @ ATL Darcy Hordichuk
Comments: Before the faceoff, Webb whacks Darcy's stick out of his hands. Linesman comes over for a talk, they re-lineup, and then drop the gloves after the puck drops. Both throw a couple of quick ones. None landing solid. Darcy then gets off about three or four solid shots. Webb throws a couple that seem to have caught either helmet or pads. Hordi lands another and Webb takes a knee. Hordi throws one more that seems to have landed before the zebras jump in. Webb did not return afterwards.

Mar 23, 2002 2pd 07:32 @ NYI MIN Brad Brown
Comments: Webb checks Benysek. Brown comes over, and the gloves come off. Brown started off by corking Webb under the left eye with a nice right. After that Webb just tries to hang on. Brown keeps throwing them but nothing landing. Other Penalties: Brown received a roughing.
