Comments: Chara hits Simon at center ice, Simon didn't like it much and they drop the gloves. Simon flipped his glove into Chara's face and followed that with a stiff left. Chara then throws a couple shots, none landing too significantly. A few more thrown by each, no damage inflicted by either. Simon then with the takedown.

Comments: With a scrum in front of the Senators net, Parker came charging in and engages with Big Z. Parker threw the first, missing it, and Chara threw next and looked to connect. Chara, with his long reach keeping Parker just out of reach, connects with one more. Parker then gets loose and throws 3, landing on one or two before taking down Chara.

Comments: Barnaby basically jumped Chara from behind, threw some while Chara stood there hunched over. Barnaby then pulled/pushed him down. Chara didn't drop his gloves. Chara then receives a roughing a couple of minutes later (with Dave Andreychuk). Not impressive by Big Z (especially when he showed heart against Parker on the 6th). Other Penalties: Barnaby received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct. Zdeno Chara did not receive a fighting major.

Comments: Only 14 seconds in, Chara challenges Worrell who obliges. Worrell starts out throwing little jabs to Chara who responds by throwing some little jabs to Worrell. Worrell then throws 3 big rights, 1 which hits the helmet knocking it off, the next hitting Chara on the back/top of the head, and the third missing completely. Worrell's momentum makes him fall. Chara, on his knees also, throws a weak punch at Worrell that hits him in the back.

Comments: These two had matching roughings, and Naz comes out of the box and goes right after Chara. Naz gets in some decent lefts to Chara's head. Both guys are pretty defensive. Chara throws Naz down and tries to nail him but the linesmen get in there. Other Penalties: Nazarov received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: Starts with Chara retaliating for a hit Worrell laid on someone seconds earlier. They both throw a couple strong punches to each others helmets, then miss with a couple. A few more swings and Chara takes down Worrell.
