The whistle blows and the two drop the gloves, grabbing ahold of each other just outside of the blueline. Jackman gets Richmond turned around and throws two lefts to the back of his head. The two wrestle around while Richmond's jersey starts to come off. Jackman throws two lefts and a right to the side of Richmond's head just before they fall to the ice with Jackman on top. Other Penalties: Richmond received a roughing.

The two start pushing and shoving at center, dropping the gloves and quickly grabbing ahold of each other shortly after. Mayers takes Richmond's helmet off and then throws a right at the back of his head. The two spin around and lose the grip on each other's jersey. Mayers shakes off his elbow pad and the two do a little shadow boxing while squaring off. Mayers throws a left-right combination just as he is grabbing onto Richmond. Mayers then connects with four hard rights to the side of Richmond's head that send Richmond falling to the ice. The linesmen quickly move in and break things up.
