| They drop them by the benches. Mair is wailing away with the left. A bunch of shots land, some miss. Mair rips Neil's helmet off and hits him twice with it. Mair is going crazy with the left, hard to tell if he's landing them all. Neil finally throws a few back and lands one or two, others come up short. Mair with more lefts, including one that appears to land well. Very entertaining fight. Other Penalties: Mair received an attempt to injure match penalty. | ||||

| Dec 07, 2002 | 1pd 08:53 | @ OTT | CAR | Jesse Boulerice |
| Boulerice looked like he wanted it and Neil accepts. A couple nothing shots by each and they fall, however there is only one linesman over there and he lets em get up. The first punch that is thrown is a big right cross by Boulerice that connects and down goes Neil. | ||||

| Dec 27, 2002 | 1pd 20:00 | @ OTT | MON | Randy McKay |
| They collide in the corner and McKay doesn't back down. Neil throws the gloves, as does McKay and they grapple in tight for position. Lots of wrestling going on here, and no one can get the hand free. McKay manages to land a couple of weak lefts and maybe a right to the face, while Neil lands maybe a very slightly harder couple of punches with the right. They continue to pull in tight with McKay really trying to get free. Neil has him tied up good and spins and manages to get himself half-loose, but before anything lands the linesmen come in. | ||||

| Dec 27, 2002 | 2pd 16:47 | @ OTT | MON | Bill Lindsay |
| Happens off the draw at center ice after the Habs score to tie it 1-1. Not much of a fight, but Neil kind of ragdolls Lindsay and gets a couple of shots in as Lindsay goes down. Neil tries to pump up the crowd as he's going off. | ||||

| Jan 02, 2003 | 2pd 03:09 | @ OTT | ATL | Jeff Odgers |
| Getting totally blown out of the game, Odgers starts jawing with Neil. They both drop the gloves. Odgers lands about 4 or 5 short ones to the side of Neil's head. Neither fighter wants to let go of the other, so they're clutching tight. Odgers finally gets Neil's helmet off, but he's in too tight to do anything. Neil lands a couple of glancing shots and they go down with Neil on top. | ||||

| Feb 15, 2003 | 1pd 19:59 | OTT | @ TOR | Tie Domi |
| The period's over, literally one second left, and Neil takes a healthy run at Domi. Domi takes exception, turns to Neil, has a few words, then drops the gloves and tags him with a left. Neil gets his own mitts off a split-second late and takes some lefts. Domi lifted the front of Neil's jersey over his face. With the jersey up, Tie landed a few more shots with the left. | ||||

| Feb 25, 2003 | 1pd 09:57 | @ OTT | MIN | Jeremy Stevenson |
| Camera gets there late, they are both willingly throwing, but nothing seems to land. From the high cam that shows how the fight starts it looks like Stevenson gets off about three punches, maybe connecting on one or two. Hard to tell what landed. | ||||

| Feb 25, 2003 | 3pd 18:04 | @ OTT | MIN | Jeremy Stevenson |
| Both players run into each other and drop the gloves, Stevenson lands a punch on the temple, partially helmet, then Neil misses. Stevenson hits his helmet, both throw big punches but both miss, then Neil misses with another. Stevenson gets his helmet off and gets a light punch to the side of his head and a light punch to the back of Neil's head. You could really tell that Stevenson was pissed off in this fight by the look on his face. | ||||

| Mar 04, 2003 | 2pd 15:40 | @ OTT | TOR | Tie Domi |
| Lots of talk between the two after the puck is dropped. They nod, and drop the gloves. Neil is throwing rights which seem to hit air. Domi is just lining up Neil and connecting with haymakers. Domi tries another haymaker, which misses. Domi's got Neil in the spin cycle now. Neil tries to answer with a few rights. Glancing blows. Domi hits another haymaker and loses his balance. Neil nails Domi with a good right hand, and Domi hits the ice. Probably not a TKO because Domi was already off-balance. | ||||

| Mar 04, 2003 | 3pd 07:30 | @ OTT | TOR | Darcy Tucker |
| Green is chirping at the Sens bench, pointing to Neil. He's being held back by a linesman and a couple of Sens players. Tucker comes out of nowhere and throws a crosscheck at Neil. The melee ensues. Neil throws 4-5 rights at Tucker, who's throwing several gloved punches back. Everyone on the Sens bench that got involved were just trying to break things up, but the Leafs didn't see it that way. Jacques Martin even gets involved, which angers Quinn. He picks up a stick and goes towards the Sens bench. Tucker is now squared off with Hnidy on the ice, but he seems exhausted and is just holding on. Tucker is led off the ice as the Sens bench have words with both Quinn and Domi. Other Penalties: Tucker received an instigator, misconduct and double game misconduct; Hnidy a game misconduct; Neil a game misconduct; Travis Green a charging. | ||||

| Mar 18, 2003 | 2pd 18:52 | OTT | @ CAR | Craig Adams |
| Really not much of a fight. Late in the second period Neil starts roughing up Craig MacDonald for several seconds. Adams steps in and after a couple of shoves they drop the gloves and lock up. Neil throws a couple of punches, couldn't tell if he landed an uppercut since the camera angle was directly behind Adams. Adams didn't get any punches off. The linesmen broke it up pretty quickly. Other Penalties: Neil received a roughing. | ||||

| Mar 21, 2003 | 2pd 18:51 | OTT | @ ATL | Chris Tamer |
| Starts at the side of the Atlanta net. Tamer comes out firing first. He fires off about 5 shots or so that go unanswered. Almost looked to hurt Neil. Neil comes back with a few, but Chris is between the camera and Tamer so it's hard to tell if anything was landed. Looked like a few shots perhaps and he pulls Tamer off-balance and he goes down while Neil throws another shot or two. | ||||

| Mar 21, 2003 | 3pd 12:42 | OTT | @ ATL | Jeff Cowan |
| Neil's looking for a fight and these two are talking and skating at center ice, they both drop em and each throw some fists. Couldn't tell if much landed, but they fall and get back up. Cowan throws some nothing punches at the back of Neil's head and the linesmen jump in. Right after Cowan/Neil scrap, Odgers plays his usual big brother role and Chara takes exception. The gloves come off and Odgers goes to throw a couple before it's quickly broken up. Other Penalties: Cowan and Neil each received a roughing; Jeff Odgers and Zdeno Chara each received misconducts. | ||||

| Mar 28, 2003 | 2pd 02:36 | @ OTT | WAS | Jason Doig |
| Great squareoff in the Caps zone and Doig does the gentlemanly thing and removes the visor and Neil likewise. Neil has Doig tied up good and Doig is throwing, but not landing and Neil counters with some good uppercuts. Both started holding on and all of a sudden Doig gets loose and throws two good lefts that drop Neil. The last left from Doig caught Neil good and he looked woozy skating to the box. | ||||
