Comments: The two battle along the boards for the puck just before Eager says something to Janik and proceeds to drop his gloves. Eager throws two rights that hit Janik's helmet and Janik ducks down, shedding his gloves while trying to get loose. Eager throws another right and the two skate into the boards. Janik throws a right, but Eager responds with three more while Janik presses him against the glass. Janik throws a short right and Eager misses with a right before connecting with an uppercut that sends Janik to the ice. Eager throws a right while Janik is falling and then skates away once he sees that his opponent is down. Other Penalties: Eager received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: A scrum develops near the side boards and Eager and Witt end up together. Witt gives Eager a facewash and Eager drops his gloves, missing with a right. Eager shoves Witt, trying to get him to drop his gloves, but it takes a right hand in order for Witt to do so. They wrestle around for a long while until Eager throws a short right that hits Witt's helmet. Witt responds with an uppercut and a right and Eager throws two rights and two uppercuts while trying to shake off his elbow pad. Witt then wrestles him to the ice and gets in a right, but the linesmen are right there to grab the two. Other Penalties: Mike Richards and Andy Hilbert each received a roughing.

Comments: The whistle blows to stop play and the two quickly drop the gloves, grabbing ahold of each other next to the side boards. Mair throws four lefts at a locked-out Eager and then takes his helmet off, throwing it to the ice. Mair throws another left and Eager slams him down to the ice. Eager throws two lefts while the two are down and the linesmen quickly move in.

Comments: The two drop the gloves near the side boards and tie up, skating into the glass. They struggle to get loose for a bit and Eager finally gets free, throwing two rights while Bell tries to move away from the punches. Bell is able to remove Eager's helmet and Eager throws an uppercut and a right. Eager drags Bell farther down ice and misses with a right, allowing Bell to take advantage and throw a left. Eager gets Bell turned around and throws three overhand rights to the back of Bell's head. Bell then suddenly lets go, sending Eager crashing into the boards. The linesmen step in and the two are sent to their respective penalty boxes.

Comments: Eager nails Thorburn along the boards, knocking him to the ice. Thorburn gets back up and shoves Eager while one of the linesmen tries to separate them. They both drop their gloves and Eager quickly throws a left that hits the side of Thorburn's head. Both of the linesmen jump in to try and stop the fight, but Eager continues to throw some short lefts. Thorburn returns fire with a right and the linesmen are still relentless in trying to stop the fight. Eager throws an uppercut and a left and the linesmen are finally able to break things up. Other Penalties: Eager received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: The two drop the gloves at center ice and quickly grab ahold of each other. Hale throws a locked-out right and Eager returns fire with five unanswered rights of his own while Hale tries to tie him up. Eager gets Hale turned around and throws four rights to the back of his head. Hale is able to get himself turned around and gets Eager bent over. Hale throws an uppercut, but Eager quickly locks him out and prevents him from doing anything else. They stop throwing and the linesmen begin to move in, but Eager starts things up again by throwing a right. Hale responds with a short right and Eager tries to take his helmet off, but the linesmen move in once again and are able to break things up things time around.

Comments: Eager knocks Daniel Girardi down with an open-ice hit, causing Orr to take exception and go after Eager. They drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other next to the benches. Orr connects with three straight rights to the side of Eager's helmet. Eager is able to tie Orr up for a moment, but Orr quickly gets free and throws a right that comes up short just before he goes down to his knees. Orr gets back up and Eager gets off three consecutive rights. Eager gets Orr turned around and Orr falls to the ice. Eager gets in a right while they are falling, but the linesmen are right there to grab them and prevent anything else from happening. Eager gets back up to his feet and exchanges words with the Rangers' bench and Orr as well while skating to the penalty box. Eager also has a bloody lip and mouth.
