Comments: They drop em right off the draw and square off. Laus goes in first and they throw some nothing jabs trying to get position. They both start throwing rights with Laus landing one and McCarthy slipping in an uppercut. Now it's toe to toe time, Laus with the right and McCarthy going with the left. It's all Laus in this part of the exchange and McCarthy goes down from balance/punch. McCarthy gets back up and wants more but the linesmen will have none of it.

Comments: The fight starts behind the net and Laus tries a whipping right. Cote drops his gloves, grabs on and tries a whipping right of his own. Laus lands, Cote does not. They spin into the boards. Cote misses a right and Laus then grabs him and tries to pull him over. They are on the net so Cote is able to maintain balance. Laus gets free and tries a right. They grip back up and Cote tries a right that missed. Laus slips and Cote lands a right. Laus is covering, Cote backs off and the linesmen step in.

Comments: Some pushing and shoving starts around the Florida net and Laus pushes O'Donnell against the boards, behind the net, dropping his gloves in the process. O'Donnell drops his too and they grapple for position. O'Donnell gets Laus off-balance and they both go to the ice, then get right back up. O'Donnell throws a right which comes up short and Laus answers with a few rights, one landing. Laus attempts to get O'Donnell's helmet off while pinning him against the boards, Laus throws another right catching helmet then he gets the helmet off and slams O'Donnell to the ice.

Comments: This one started during Kovalev and Hicks. Laus throws and lands 3 rights and Moran’s helmet comes off. Paul switches to the left and lands 3 more, then another left after pausing. A linesman comes in and breaks it up. Other Penalties: Moran received a game misconduct; Laus a misconduct.
