| Comments: They square off close to the boards at center ice. Stojanov lunges in and they start exchanging rights. Each player throws around 6 or 7 punches with a few from each landing. Janssens then switches to the left hand and throws five uppercuts, with a few of those landing. Stojanov absorbs the blows and comes back with a couple of rights. The first doesn't connect, but the second sends Janssens to his backside and the linesmen come in. | ||||

| Comments: They skate up next to each other while entering Whalers' zone, have a few words, then shove in front of the Capitals net until they finally drop the gloves. Simon throws two lefts to start, both hitting helmet. Janssens answers with three quick lefts, all landing, making Simon slide to one knee. He quickly gets back up and they trade 10-15 lefts, some look to land with no damage. They tire and hold each other off until the linesmen step in. | ||||

| Comments: Starts behind the play. They grapple and spin around three times before trying to land shots. Janssens lands a short left, Chynoweth misses a short left. Chynoweth then throws four damaging wild left hands, two land clean causing Janssens to cringe a bit. Chynoweth then throws three lefts, an uppercut and a straight land. Janssens then grapples, and then lands a short left of his own. Chynoweth keeps throwing lefts, missing two. Janssens throws a left and pulls Chynoweth to the ice. Other Penalties: Janssens received an instigator and misconduct. | ||||
