Comments: They drop the gloves behind the play and grab on. Vandermeer throws a right as Cowan throws a number of rights with Vandermeer putting his right arm up to block them. Cowan throws a right and Vandermeer knocks Cowan's helmet off and gets his jersey over his head. Vandermeer switches hands and starts raining down overhand rights on Cowan. Cowan throws a blind right in defense as Vandermeer continues to throw rights until the linesmen step in.

Date Time For Against Opponent
Dec 02, 2005 3pd 16:31 LOS @ OTT Chris Kelly
Comments: Cowan and Kelly decide that they are going to drop the gloves near the Kings blueline and they have a pretty even square up. Cowan lunges in and starts off with a bomb that doesn't connect but sends Kelly off-balance. Cowan starts going to town on the ill-positioned Kelly as his back is turned. Kelly finally rights himself, and attempts a right of his own that misses, and Cowan is again on the offensive, landing what appears to be a right. That stuns Kelly, and he goes down, and the linesmen jump in to save him.
Voted winner: Jeff Cowan (95.9%) - Voted rating: 6.0

Date Time For Against Opponent
Apr 04, 2006 1pd 16:47 LOS @ ANA Todd Fedoruk
Comments: Sean Avery skates towards the net shortly after the whistle and sprays Jean-Sebastien Giguere with ice. Fedoruk and Vitaly Vishnevski push Avery and skate after him along the boards as other players join the scrum. Fedoruk and Avery exchange gloved punches while Cowan fights to get over to Fedoruk. Cowan then pushes Fedoruk and they grab ahold of each other, skating out into open ice. They grapple for a short while, each player trying to get loose. Cowan throws two lefts with one landing while Fedoruk continues to try and get an arm free. Fedoruk lands a short right and takes Cowan's helmet off while Cowan puts his head into Fedoruk's chest. Cowan throws an overhand left and Fedoruk responds with two rights just before Cowan goes down to his knees and Fedoruk holds up, allowing the linesmen to come in. Other Penalties: Fedoruk received a roughing.
Voted winner: Todd Fedoruk (90.2%) - Voted rating: 4.6
