Comments: They start pushing and shoving along the boards and drop the gloves. Both fighters are wearing visors, but don't remove their helmets. They grab on and Ballard throws a short right, switches hands, and then throws two short lefts before Iginla wrestles him down to the ice. Ballard gets back up as Iginla misses with a right. Iginla rips Ballard's helmet off as Ballard is throwing rights. Iginla connects with an overhand right as Ballard attempts a body shot, but gets tied up. Iginla gets his left hand loose and starts raining down punches on Ballard while he is bent over. They tie up and Iginla throws a body shot. Iginla then throws a left that misses and knocks both players off-balance and to the ice. Iginla throws another left as they are falling.

Comments: Right after the faceoff the two come together and begin to push and shove. Iginla challenges him and they drop the gloves. Kesler starts things off with seven straight rights with about three connecting as Iginla lands two rights of his own. They wrestle around as Iginla rips Kesler's helmet off. They grapple some more and Iginla finally gets loose and throws two rights, with one landing to the side of Kesler's face. They go back and forth with punches: Iginla with rights, Kesler with lefts. Iginla then throws a body shot before they wrestle around in close quarters. Iginla switches hands and throws five lefts with a few connecting as Kesler throws a left. Kesler then lands two rights as Iginla lands a left. Iginla lands a big right and the two begin to exchange right hands once again. They go back and forth with some more punches, both fighters obviously fatigued as Iginla shakes his elbow pad off. They each land two rights before Iginla misses with two wide lefts and the linesmen come in and finally stop the fight.

Comments: Behind the play, the two drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other. Jackman throws two off-balance rights as Iginla throws a left of his own. The two connect with simultaneous lefts and Iginla lands two more lefts to the back of a bent over Jackman. Jackman throws a right before Iginla switches hands and lands a right uppercut. Jackman throws two more rights before losing his balance and falling to the ice. Iginla throws a couple of rights while Jackman is falling.
