Comments: A few minutes before the fight Low dropped the gloves and threw maybe one punch at Saywer. Sawyer did not respond and the linesman immediately came in; Low got a roughing. Later on, right off the faceoff they drop the gloves. They are basically staying back and waiting to grab on and hold. After about 10 seconds, Low finally grabs on to Sawyer. Low is swinging away with about 3-4 punches which all miss. One might have slightly connected to Sawyer's helmet. Sawyer throws a couple of punches which both miss. Both fighters now have one arm free. Saywer throws one which might have hit helmet or forehead, which did some damage. They size each up for a little bit. Low finally grabs on with both hands and pins Sawyer up to the glass and throws a couple which did little damage. The linsmen come in and Sawyer threw one more punch while the linsmen were between them.

Comments: Good to see the linesmen let 'em go for so long. Low gets it on early with 8 big rights to Langdon, several of them find the mark, then Low switches to the left and connects on 1 of them flush to the face of Langdon. Low seems to be tiring and as we all know, Langdon is the best second half fighter in all of hockey. He starts to nail Low with some heavy punches, with 1, possibly 2 getting the mark.

Comments: They dropped em near center ice. A pretty open battle here, Allison was throwing with the left and Low with the right. Allison was landing a few glancing blows to Reed's chest/neck area when Low started firing the hammer. Reed landed about 10 to Allison's face/top of the head area before Allison put his head down. After this, Reed started pounding the back of Jamie's head before the linesmen had seen enough and stepped in. Other Penalties: Allison received an interference.

Comments: Webb is looking to spark his team and picks a fight with Low off the face-off. Webb brags, gets a punch in and then Low gets going and unloads on him.

Comments: Moments after a Messier goal these two drop em. Some flashes by the camera angles to get there, but you can tell they've basically been grappling. Purinton seems to have a bit more control and throws a couple of big rights that hit Low, but not squarely. Low gets in a weak shot of his own. Low's trying real hard to get his hands free, but Purinton's got him locked up pretty well. Purinton gets in another blah shot. Low swings, misses and falls. Purinton falls on top of him giving him a punch as they go down.

Comments: Low rides Cowan into the glass by the bench. Cowan goes down hard but starts to get up and starts skating towards Low. Tamer gets there first and they immediately throw down the gloves. Not a whole lot landed before both bodies head to the ground. Other Penalties: Tamer received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: Low was not tied down as the camera comes in late as this and the McCarty-Salvador fight were going on at the same time. Both had each other tied up pretty well. Then Low gets his right free and knocks-down Maxim with a good right. Maxim then covers up not wanting anymore. Other Penalties: Doug Weight and Tomas Holmstrom each received a roughing; Low an instigator, roughing, triple misconduct and game misconduct.

Comments: Most of this fight was grappling with a few short shots tried by both guys. In the middle of it Dingman throws a big right hand that seems to land, and then they tie up and grapple again with Low eventually getting the takedown in a long, but boring tilt.

Comments: The two grab each other behind the net after a whistle and look like they want to go, but a linesman jumps in. They won't let go and another ref tells the first to back off. Both players are just holding on for a few more seconds until Low gets his right arm free and throws a few, none of which do any damage. A little more holding and the linesmen start to come in. Odelein shakes his head no repeatedly, and the refs back off. Again, Low throws some rights, Odelein can't get his right free to unload, and the linesmen try to come in. Again Odelein says no. Low throws some more rights, Odelein holds on, and the refs come in. Odelein again shakes his head no, but this time the linesmen ignore him and break up the fight.

Comments: Both have a good lock, with both throwing and coming up short. Low gets free and tries to throw, but gets off balance and Erksine goes for the take down.

Comments: Both square off the faceoff. Grapple for position, Reed lands a good right hand. Brashear starts spin-ragdolling him. Brash lands 2 good rights. Grapple some more, Brash spin-ragdolls Low to his knees.

Comments: As the play moves up ice, Low skates into the Phoenix end along the near boards and says something to Simpson. Simpson drops the gloves a second before Low, and they are in close and both latch onto each other. Lows looks like he has room to swing the right, and he gets in an uppercut that connects, but Simpson was turning his head, so he may not have caught all of it. Low lands a right to the helmet and then rips the helmet half off. Next right from Low knocks Simpson's helmet off without appearing to do any damage. Then Low connects with a good right to Simpson's Jaw, and at this point Simpson is just hanging on. Simpson gets in tight and Low throws 3 more rights to the back of Simpson's head or neck. Low then switches to the left and hits Simpson in the side of the head. One left uppercut from Low misses, the next lands, or appears to as Simpson's head snaps away. Still nothing from Simpson. One more Low left to the head and 3-4 more that hit chest or jersey. As the linesmen come in and tie up Low, Simpson throws a couple of push-rights that do nothing. Other Penalties: Low received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: Laraque challenges Low off the faceoff and away they go. They tangle up immediately, Laraque lands a pretty good left. Low just holding on now as Laraque tries to get the helmet off. Low throws 3 weak rights, then Laraque gets the helmet off. Laraque throws a couple of more lefts, and Low loses his grip on Georges' left arm. Laraque is loose now and Low bails as Laraque is chasing him down trying to connect with lefts. Low hits the ice and this one's over.

Comments: Johnson seemed to be skating off to the bench when Low pushes him from behind and drops the gloves. Johnson turns around and Low locks him up while Johnson is still taking his gloves off. After that they grapple for a long time with Low sneaking in two weak uppercuts, which barely connect, while Johnson throws a weak right which might have connected. They grapple some more and Johnson looks like he tries to change hands and Low pushes him off his skates and gets the takedown.

Comments: Naz drills a Blues player and gets a roughing. When he comes out he and Low go off the faceoff. A good amount of punches thrown, while not much damage was done. Naz got in a good right cross and uppercut in the exchange. Linesmen seperate after about 30 seconds of fighting.

Comments: Johnson covers the puck and Low comes in and colides with May. They start in close and Low starts throwing rights hitting mostly helmet. They hold on more and then Low gets his right free. He starts throwing big rights landing 3 or 4 and then gets in a couple of uppercuts. May tried to turn his head, but Low still landed. Finally May holds on long enough to get the refs in. May was cut around his eye and had a bloody nose. Blood was all over. Other Penalties: Low received a misconduct; Vancouver bench an unsportsmanlike conduct.

Comments: After a long squareoff, they come together and grab on. Lots of wrestling, with McCarty throwing a couple of lefts, maybe landing one. Low gets his right free and they have a short exchange; Low with rights, McCarty with lefts. Not sure what all landed, then McCarty scores the takedown.

Comments: Camera comes in late. Boucher laid a huge, legal, open ice hit on Cajanek earlier in the game. Blues have run Boucher all game long since then. Camera comes in with Boucher on the ground and Low chucking away. Other Penalties: Low received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct.

Comments: They get matching minors, come out of the box and have a go at center ice. Low landed left hands and McCarty was also throwing them pretty well. Low lands some more as McCarty's jersey came completely off, earning him a gamer. Good fight. Other Penalties: McCarty received a game misconduct.
