Comments: Right off of the faceoff, the two drop the gloves and square off. Fedoruk grabs ahold of a ducking Laraque just before Laraque stands up straight and throws two lefts. Fedoruk returns fire with a left and Laraque answers with one while the two spin around. Fedoruk switches hands and throws three rights and Laraque misses with a left. Laraque then connects with two short lefts in tight before wrestling Fedoruk to the ice.

Comments: The two drop the gloves right next to the penalty box and square off. They grab ahold of each other but Fedoruk quickly loses his balance and falls to the ice. Laraque gets in a right while he is down and the linesmen are quick to come in. Laraque waves his arms in the air to pump up the crowd while skating to the penalty box.
