Predators Acquire Brandon Bochenski

Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has acquired Brandon Bochenski from the Anaheim Ducks for future considerations.
Bochenski, 25 (4/4/82), has appeared in 113 career NHL games since the 2005-06, amassing 51 points (23g-28a). He began the season with the Boston Bruins, playing 20 games and notching six assists, before being traded to the Ducks for future considerations on Jan. 2, 2008. Originally Ottawa’s ninth pick (seventh round, 223rd overall) in the 2001 Entry Draft, the 6-1, 187-pound right wing played four years at the University of North Dakota, being selected to the NCAA West All America team as a senior in 2004. The Blaine, Minn., native was also selected to the American Hockey League’s All-Rookie Team in 2004-05, when he notched 70 points (34g-36a) in 75 games for the Binghamton Senators.
