Canucks Recall Nathan McIver

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks Senior Vice President and General Manager Dave Nonis announced today that defenceman Nathan McIver has been recalled from the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.
McIver, 23, has recorded four points (2-2-4) and 65 penalty minutes in 28 games with the Moose this year. He has also posted a plus/minus rating of plus eight thus far this season.
McIver, made his NHL debut during the 2006-07 season, playing one game with the Canucks. The 6-foot-2, 205 lbs. native of Summerside, Prince Edward Island, played 63 games with the Moose last season, recording 139 penalty minutes.
McIver was originally drafted by Vancouver 254th overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
