Avalanche Recall Brad Richardson
Friday, Nov. 16th, 2007
The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced today that it has recalled forward Brad Richardson from the Lake Erie Monsters, the team’s American Hockey League affiliate. He will join the club in Dallas for tonight’s game against the Stars.
Richardson was assigned to Lake Erie after being cleared to play on November 7 and has tallied an assist in three games played there. Prior to his AHL assignment, he had been sidelined with a wrist injury that he sustained during off-season workouts just prior to training camp.
The Belleville, Ontario native posted career-highs in games played (73), goals (14) and points (22) last season with the Avalanche. Richardson notched three shorthanded goals and three game-winning goals during the 2006-2007 season.
