Stars Assign Conner to Iowa; Place Five on IR

FRISCO, Tex. - Dallas Stars General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today that the club has assigned left wing Chris Conner to the Iowa Stars, Dallas' primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
The club also announced they have placed five players on the injured reserve list - Niklas Grossman (shoulder), Mike Ribeiro (ankle), Aaron Gagnon (ankle), Vojtech Polak (ankle) and Francis Wathier (shoulder).
Dallas needs to get down to 23 players by Opening Night.
