Blues Reassign King; Recall Sejna

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the club has recalled forward Peter Sejna from the Blues’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen. The team also announced it has assigned forward D.J. King to Peoria.

Sejna, 27, notched a goal in his season debut on Jan. 15 at Phoenix. He has skated in five games with the Blues, tallying one goal. Sejna currently ranks second on the Rivermen with 36 points (12 goals, 24 assists) in 39 games played.

The Liptovsky Mikulas, Slovakia native was signed by St. Louis as an undrafted free agent on April 6, 2003.

King, 23, has played in nine games for the Blues this season, registering 16 penalty minutes. He has skated in 32 games with Peoria, recording five points (three goals, two assists) along with a team-high 93 penalty minutes.

The 6-0, 185-pound forward was originally drafted by the Blues as their sixth round selection, 190th in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
