Ducks Re-Sign Travis Moen

ANAHEIM, Calif. – The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has re-signed left wing Travis Moen to a one-year contract.
Moen, 24 (4/6/82), scored 4-1=5 points in 39 regular season games with Anaheim last season. The 6-2, 216-pounder added 1-0=1 point in nine postseason contests with the club. A native of Stewart Valley, Sask., Moen appeared in his first NHL season in 2003-2004 with Chicago, earning 4-2=6 points with 142 penalty minutes in 82 games.
Moen was acquired from Chicago in exchange for Michael Holmqvist on July 30, 2005. He was drafted by Calgary in the fifth round (155th overall) of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft.
