Ryan Hollweg Suspended Three Games

TORONTO - New York Rangers forward Ryan Hollweg has been suspended for three games, without pay, as a result of being assessed a game misconduct during NHL game #1028 against the Philadelphia Flyers last night, the National Hockey League announced today.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, and based on his average annual salary, Hollweg will forfeit $7,515.30. The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
Hollweg was assessed a major penalty for checking from behind and a game misconduct for a hit on Philadelphia player R.J. Umberger at 16:43 of the first period.
Hollweg will miss Friday's game at Florida, March 25 at Tampa Bay and March 27 against Buffalo. He will be eligible to return March 29 in New York against the Islanders.
