Coyotes Send Lundmark to Calgary for 4th Round Draft Pick

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Michael Barnett announced today that the Coyotes have acquired a 4th round choice in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft from the Calgary Flames for center Jamie Lundmark.

Lundmark registered 5-13-18 and 36 penalty minutes (PIM) in 38 games with the Coyotes this season. The 6-foot-0, 200-pound forward also recorded 1-0-1 and 6 PIM in three games with the New York Rangers this season. Lundmark, 25, played 4 games this season with the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League (AHL), the Coyotes’ top minor league affiliate, collecting 1-2-3 and 2 PIM. The Coyotes acquired Lundmark from the Rangers for center Jeff Taffe on Oct. 18, 2005

The native of Edmonton, Alberta was chosen by the Rangers with the ninth overall selection during the first round of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. Now in his third NHL season, Lundmark has recorded 16-32-48 and 91 PIM in 152 games during his career.
