Sharks Trade Dimitrakos to Philadelphia for 3rd Round Pick

SAN JOSE – Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has acquired a third round selection in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for RW Niko Dimitrakos.
Dimitrakos, originally selected by San Jose in the fifth round (155th overall) of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, played in 153 games with the Sharks, posting 53 points (19 goals, 34 assists) and 83 penalty minutes.
This season, he scored 16 points (four goals, 12 assists) in 45 games with San Jose.
