Predators Recall Tootoo and Zanon

Nashville, Tenn. - Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Jordin Tootoo and defenseman Greg Zanon (ZA-nuhn) from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.
Tootoo, 23 (2/2/83), has posted six points (1g-5a) and a +4 rating in 17 games with Nashville this season. In 41 AHL games this season, the 5-9, 194-pound right wing has posted 27 points (13g-14a), a +6 rating and 133 penalty minutes. He appeared in 70 games with the Predators in 2003-04 and led the club with 137 penalty minutes.
Zanon, 25 (6/5/80), has posted 30 points (8g-22a) and a team-high +14 rating in 56 games for the Admirals this season. The 5-11, 211-pound Burnaby, B.C. native, who wears the captain's "C" for Milwaukee, made his NHL debut with Nashville on December 1 vs. Minnesota and has appeared in two games with the Predators, notching one assist. He was originally signed as a free agent by Nashville on July 9, 2004 after helping the Ads capture the 2004 Calder Cup with a league-best +10 rating in the post-season.
