Boulerice Assigned to Lowell for Conditioning

RALEIGH, NC – Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that right wing Jesse Boulerice has been assigned to the Lowell Lock Monsters of the American Hockey League for a three-game conditioning stint. Boulerice will join the Lock Monsters for their home-and-home set against Hartford and Sunday’s game at Tsongas Arena against Toronto.
Boulerice, 27, has played in 25 games with the Hurricanes this season and has recorded 51 penalty minutes. He is in his fourth NHL season and third with Carolina. In 152 career NHL games with Philadelphia and Carolina, he has recorded eight goals and two assists (10 points) along with 291 penalty minutes. Since turning professional prior to the 1998-99 season, the Plattsburgh, NY, native has played in 180 regular-season AHL games, recording 11 goals, 19 assists (30 points) and 707 penalty minutes with the Philadelphia Phantoms and the Lock Monsters.
