Thrashers Reassign Ramzi Abid, Karl Stewart

The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned forwards Ramzi Abid and Karl Stewart to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League, according to Executive Vice President and General Manager Don Waddell. The team’s active roster now stands at 20, with an additional four players on Injured Reserve.
Abid, recalled by Atlanta on Jan. 6, notched one assist in two games with the Thrashers. Stewart, recalled on Dec. 22 and Jan. 2, is scoreless in six games with the Thrashers. They joined the Wolves for tonight’s game against Omaha.
