Kings Place Parros on IR; Recall Noah Clarke

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have recalled left wing Noah Clarke (under emergency conditions) from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League and have placed right wing George Parros on the injured reserve list (retroactive to December 29) due to a sprained ankle, Kings President, Hockey Operations/General Manager Dave Taylor announced Monday January 2nd.
Clarke, 26, has 25 points (6-19=25), 21 penalty minutes and a plus-9 rating in 32 games with the Monarchs this season. The 5-9, 193-pound native of La Verne, California, also has zero points and zero penalty minutes in one game with the Kings this season. Originally selected by the Kings in the ninth-round (250th overall) in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, Clarke has one point (0-1=1) and zero penalty minutes in three career NHL games – all with the Kings.
Parros, 26, injured his ankle against Colorado on December 28. Originally selected by the Kings in the eighth-round (222nd overall) in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, the 6-5, 232-pound native of Washington, Pennsylvania, has four points (1-3=4), 56 penalty minutes and a plus-5 rating in 23 games with the Kings this season.
