Calgary Flames Sign Five Players

Calgary, AB - Calgary Flames General Manager and Head Coach Darryl Sutter announced today the signings of Zenith Komarniski, Craig MacDonald, David Moss, Brantt Myhres and Cam Severson.
Zenith Komarniski, played the 2004-05 season with Syracuse of the AHL posting 14 points (3 goals, 11 assists) in 62 games. The Alberta native was drafted in the third round, 75th overall, by the Vancouver Canucks in the 1996 Entry Draft. In 21 NHL contests with Vancouver and the Columbus Blue Jackets Komarniski has one goal and one assist.
Craig MacDonald, played the 2004-05 season with the Lowell Lock Monsters of the AHL recording 28 points (10 goals, 18 assists) and 104 PIMs in 71 games. In 110 NHL career games with the Carolina Hurricanes, Florida Panthers and Boston Bruins, MacDonald has recorded 12 points (2 goals, 10 assists) and 52 PIMs. MacDonald was originally drafted by the Hartford Whalers in the fourth round, 88th overall, in the 1996 Entry Draft.
David Moss, has played the past four seasons with the University of Michigan (CCHA) posting 94 points (36 goals, 58 assists) and 91 penalty minutes in 162 games. The Flames drafted Moss in the seventh round, 220th overall, in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
Brantt Myhres, a veteran forward skated with Lowell during the 2004-05 season appearing in 29 games with the club. In 154 NHL career games the former 97th overall selection by Tampa Bay in the 1992 NHL Entry has recorded eight points and 687 PIMs.
Cam Severson, played in 63 games with Milwaukee of the AHL during the 2004-05 campaign recording 14 points (6 goals, 8 assists) and 255 penalty minutes. The former eighth round selection of the San Jose Sharks (192nd overall) in the 1997 Entry Draft has appeared in 33 NHL career games with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim scoring three goals and adding 58 penalty minutes.
