Calgary Flames Forward Steve Reinprecht Accepts Qualifying Offer

Calgary, AB - Calgary Flames General Manager & Head Coach Darryl Sutter announced today forward Steve Reinprecht has accepted his qualifying offer.
Steve Reinprecht played his fourth NHL season during the 2003-04 campaign recording 29 points on seven goals and 22 assists in 44 games with Calgary. The 6’0” 191 lbs. centre has played in 269 NHL career games recording 162 points (59 goals, 103 assists) and 56 penalty minutes. Calgary acquired the Edmonton, AB native from Buffalo along with Rhett Warrener on July 3, 2003 for Steve Begin and Chris Drury.
The 29 year-old has posted 20 points (10 goals, 10 assists) in 50 NHL playoff games including five points (2 goals, 3 assists) with the Avalanche en-route to a Stanley Cup Championship during the 2001 playoffs. Reinprecht originally signed as a free agent with the Los Angeles Kings on March 31, 2000.
