Flyers Trade Todd Fedoruk to the Ducks

The Philadelphia Flyers announced that they have traded right wing Todd Fedoruk to the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in exchange for a second round pick in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft (59th overall), according to club General Manager Bob Clarke.

Fedoruk, 26, recorded four goals and 12 assists for 16 points and 142 penalty minutes in 42 regular season games this past season for the Flyers’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Philadelphia Phantoms. He also posted four points (2G,2A) and 33 penalty minutes in 16 playoff games as the Phantoms won the Calder Cup.

In 220 career NHL regular season games with the Flyers over four seasons (2000-01 through 2003-04), Fedoruk registered 10 goals and 18 assists for 28 points and 491 penalty minutes. He was drafted by the Flyers from the Kelowna Rockets of the Western Hockey League in the seventh round (164th overall) of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft.

The Flyers now have eight picks in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft (20th, 59th, 89th, 91st, 102nd, 152nd, 174th and 215th).
