Purinton Suspended Three Games, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL announced on Monday that, following review of video footage, it has suspended Victoria defenseman Dale Purinton for three games and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #577 against Fresno on February 2.

At 3:21 of the second period, Purinton was assessed a match penalty under Rule 43(a) – Attempt To Injure.

Purinton missed Victoria’s games vs. Fresno (Feb. 4) and vs. Fresno (Feb. 5) and will miss Victoria’s game vs. Idaho (Feb. 7).
