Stars Re-Sign Scott Glennie to One-Year Contract

FRISCO, Texas - Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that forward Scott Glennie has been re-signed to a one-year, two-way contract.

Glennie, 23, concluded his third full season with the Texas Stars, Dallas' development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). With Texas, the 6-foot-1, 195-pound forward scored a professional career-high 15 goals and posted 28 points (15-13=28) in 50 regular-season contests. He also earned 10 points (6-4=10) in 20 postseason games with the club.

The native of Winnipeg, Manitoba was drafted by Dallas in the first round (8th overall) of the 2009 NHL Draft.
