CHL Suspends Five Players for Incidents on March 15th

GLENDALE, AZ – The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today several suspensions stemming from games on Friday, March 15.
Arizona defenseman Kirill Tulupov has been suspended one (1) game for an illegal check to the head, was not penalized in the game. He will miss Arizona’s game on Saturday against Wichita.
Fort Worth defenseman Mike Salekin has been suspended one (1) game for receiving a cross checking major penalty late in Friday’s game versus Allen. He will miss Saturday’s game against the Americans.
Bloomington forward Jared Walker has been suspended one (1) game for receiving an illegal check to the head penalty against Quad City on Friday. He will miss Saturday’s game against Denver.
Quad City forward Jason Kostadine has been suspended two (2) games for receiving an illegal check to the head penalty against Bloomington on Friday. He will miss Saturday and Sunday’s games against Missouri.
Rapid City defenseman Justin Sawyer has been suspended one (1) game for accumulating three misconduct/game misconduct penalties this season in the category of instigating. He will miss the Rush’s game on Saturday against Tulsa.
