Sharks Re-Sign Frazer McLaren to One-Year Contract

SAN JOSE – San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has re-signed forward Frazer McLaren to a one-year contract. In keeping with club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In 2011-12, McLaren played seven games for San Jose, posting nine penalty minutes. In 20 games with Worcester, he logged one assist and 73 penalty minutes. He is currently the all-time leader in Worcester Sharks history with 490 penalty minutes and 47 fighting majors.
In 39 career NHL games McLaren has posted six points (one goal, five assists), a plus-five rating, and 85 penalty minutes.
The six-foot-five, 250-pound native of Winnipeg, MB was selected in the seventh round (203rd overall) by San Jose in the 2007 NHL Draft.
