Nate Prosser Suspended One Game For Head-Butt

NEW YORK – Minnesota Wild defenseman Nate Prosser has been suspended for one game, without pay, for head-butting Chicago Blackhawks forward Jamal Mayers during NHL Game #1210 in St. Paul on Thursday, April 5, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, and based on his average annual salary, Prosser will forfeit $3,864.86. The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
The incident occurred at 18:19 of the first period. A major penalty and game misconduct for head-butting were assessed on the play.
