Oilers Recall Colten Teubert; Assign Linus Omark to Oklahoma

General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled defenceman Colten Teubert and assigned left-winger Linus Omark to the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.

Teubert, 21, has played in nine games with the Barons this season recording two goals and two assists. The 6'4", 200-pound White Rock, BC native has appeared in 68 career AHL games with the Barons and Manchester Monarchs collecting 21 points (6G, 15A) and 101 PIM.

Teubert was acquired from Los Angeles with a draft pick in exchange for Dustin Penner last season.

Omark, 24, played in five games this season for the Oilers after spending the majority of last year with Edmonton, where he scored five goals and added 22 assists in 51 games.

The 5’10”, 180-pound Overtornea, Sweden native also played in 28 games for the Barons last season collecting 31 points (14G, 17A).
