Edmonton Agree to Terms With Josh Green

General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have agreed to terms with forward Josh Green on a one-year two-way contract.

Green, 33, skated in 12 games with the Ducks last season with six penalty minutes and he also played in 69 games with the Syracuse Crunch recording 46 points (15G, 31A) and 74 penalty minutes.

The 6’3”, 215-pound Camrose, AB native has played in 334 career NHL games with the Kings, New York Islanders, Edmonton Oilers, New York Rangers, Calgary Flames, Vancouver Canucks and Anaheim Ducks collecting 74 points (35G, 39A) and 199 penalty minutes.

In 335 career AHL games he has 98 goal and 114 assists for 212 points along with 341 penalty minutes.

Green was originally a 2nd round draft pick, 30th overall, by the Los Angeles Kings in 1996.
