Canucks Re-Assign Jeff Tambellini to Manitoba

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks President and General Manager Mike Gillis announced today that left wing Jeff Tambellini has been reassigned to the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.
Tambellini, 26, recorded three points (2-1-3) in six games with Vancouver this season. He collected 14 points (7-7-14) in 36 games with the New York Islanders in 2009.10. He has registered 46 points (18-28-46) in 180 career NHL games with the Islanders and Los Angeles Kings.
The Calgary, AB native was originally selected 27th overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings and signed by Vancouver as a free agent July 1, 2010.
