Wild call up Petr Kalus

HOUSTON - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League club has recalled right wing Petr Kalus from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League.
Kalus, 22 (6/29/87), has posted 15 points (11-4=15) and 64 penalty minutes (PIM) in 53 games for the Aeros this season. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound native of Ostrava, Czech Republic, played in nine games with the Boston Bruins in 2006-07, tallying five points (4-1=5). Kalus was Boston's second-round pick (No. 39 overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft and was acquired by the Wild with a fourth-round pick from the Bruins in exchange for Manny Fernandez on July 1, 2007. Kalus will wear No. 23 with the Wild.
