Blue Jackets Activate Derek Dorsett off IR

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated right wing Derek Dorsett off Injured Reserve, General Manager Scott Howson announced today.
Dorsett, 22, was injured against Dallas on November 19. He has registered one goal and three assists for four points, 51 penalty minutes and a +2 plus/minus rating in 18 games this season. The Kindersley, Saskatchewan native tallied 4-1-5 and 150 penalty minutes in 52 games during his rookie season in 2008-09. He was the Blue Jackets’ ninth pick, 189th overall, in the 2006 Entry Draft.
