Devils Assign Letourneau-Leblond and Pikkarainen to Lowell For Conditioning

The New Jersey Devils announced Wednesday they have activated right wing Ilkka Pikkarainen from injured reserve and assigned him to Lowell (AHL) for conditioning, along with forward Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond.
Pikkarainen, 28, has missed the last three games because of illness. He has one assist and a minus-3 rating over 13 appearances in his first NHL season.
Letourneau-Leblond, 24, had missed seven games with an upper body injury. He was placed on IR on Nov. 19 retroactive to Nov. 4, and activated on Nov. 20. The rugged rookie is a minus-3 in seven appearances.
