Blue Jackets Activate Jan Hejda Off Injured Reserve

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated defenseman Jan Hejda off injured reserve, General Manager Scott Howson announced today. Hejda is expected to be in the lineup tonight when the Blue Jackets host the San Jose Sharks.
Hejda has recorded one assist, two penalty minutes and a +8 plus/minus rating in five games with the Blue Jackets this season. He was injured in a game against Calgary on October 13. The Prague, Czech Republic native has collected 4-40-44, 121 penalty minutes and a cumulative plus/minus rating of +45 in 207 career NHL games with the Blue Jackets and Edmonton Oilers. He holds the Blue Jackets single season (+23 in 2008-09) and career (+51) records in plus/minus rating.
