Kings Recall Brian Boyle

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have recalled forward Brian Boyle from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League (AHL), Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Boyle, 24, has played in 14 games with the Kings this season, recording one point (a goal) and 12 penalty minutes. The 6-7, 252-pounder from Hingham, MA, has also played in 13 games with the Monarchs this season and has 11 points (4-7=11) and 35 penalty minutes.

Originally selected by the Kings in the first-round (26th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Boyle has played in 22 career NHL games with the Kings and has six points (5-1=6) and 16 penalty minutes.
