The 30-year-old right winger is in his 11th pro season after three seasons of junior hockey with the Detroit/Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League. He spent his first full season in the NHL with Carolina in 2002-03 and played a career-high 76 games with the Hurricanes in 2003-04, establishing career-highs with six goals, seven points and 127 penalty minutes.

Boulerice split the 2007-08 season between Philadelphia and the Flyers’ AHL affiliate. He was scoreless with 29 penalty minutes in five games with the Flyers and registered 2-4-6 with 101 penalty minutes in 36 games with the Philadelphia Phantoms.

MacIntyre missed the last two games of the Oilers seven-game road trip due to an upper body injury.
