It was a busy weekend following the Thanksgiving holiday. A total of 15 fights were produced out of 24 games. Two of those games featured more than one fight.
If you haven't jumped on board the John Scott bandwagon yet, you're about to find yourself among many. Scott, who has yet to lose a fight at the NHL level as we've mentioned before, turned in another impressive performance on Saturday, beating and bloodying Kevin Westgarth.
Jordin Tootoo and Brandon Prust stayed busy over the weekend, each dropping the gloves in consecutive games. Tootoo helped send Clayton Stoner to the ice on Friday and followed up with a tilt against Sean Avery, which is a clear battle between two of the more hated players in the league. Prust countered with a long scrap against Darcy Hordichuk and followed that up with a win over Shane O'Brien.
