Jim McKenzie (NAS) |
Krzysztof Oliwa (CAL) |
| Comments: First shift together and they drop the gloves. Both fire off five or six shots, McKenzie with the left and Oliwa with the right, all of which connecting. They tie up and McKenzie gets the bear hug going. Oliwa then threw a right uppercut and pushed McKenzie into the boards. McKenzie threw a quick right uppercut and one overtop. They grapple somemore and the linesmen come in. |

Scott Walker (NAS) |
Chuck Kobasew (CAL) |
| Comments: Kobasew checks Walker hard into the boards from behind and Walker takes exception. Walker throws three overhand rights that hit mostly helmet, then throws a right uppercut that snaps Kobasew's head back. They wrestle around and Kobasew looks to land a decent left. Walker spins Kobasew around against the boards and lands a big overhand right. Kobasew throws a left that hits the back of Walker's head. Walker then lands one more decent right before the linesmen step in. |

Jordin Tootoo (NAS) |
Jarome Iginla (CAL) |
| Comments: Tootoo comes out of the penalty box and immediately levels a Flame with an open-ice check. Iginla challenges Tootoo and they throw the gloves off and immediately tie up with Iginla getting Tootoo bent over, but can't take advantage. Tootoo straightens up and throws three lefts with the last one landing flush to Iginla's jaw. Iginla comes back with three rights that land to the back of Tootoo's head. Tootoo twists Iginla around and as Iginla falls Tootoo lands a hard right that pisses Iginla off big-time. Iginla was bleeding, not sure if it was from a punch or if his head hit the ice. |
