Comments: Nice squareoff at center ice. Both players remove helmets. Ference swings with the right, misses and slips and Ott barely missed a strong cross. Lots of grappling, but nothing landing. Ott gets the takedown.

Comments: Downey hooked Nash, then Nash gave Downey a cross check, so Downey drops the gloves. Nash was near his bench, so he leans over and turtles along the bench edge. Downey is wailing on the back of Nash's head and back when the refs come in. Other Penalties: Nash received a cross checking; Downey an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct. Tyson Nash did not receive a fighting major.
