Comments: Gauthier attempts to throw a typical Gauthier hip-check on an Oiler. Smith doesn't like this, so he goes after Gauthier. This gets him the instigator. A scrum ensues and out of this scrum, Smith and Gauthier have the gloves off. Smith hits Gauthier with about five short rights to the back of the head. They were in really tight, then Gauthier takes Smith down. None of Smith's punches did any damage, but he was the only one throwing. Other Penalties: Smith received an instigator and misconduct.
