Comments: The two shed the mitts and the helmets just before they square off at the blueline. McCormick grabs onto a ducking Bootland and throws two rights while Bootland tries to tie him up. Bootland gets in two short rights just as McCormick throws a left of his own. McCormick then switches hands and throws two rights, knocking both players off-balance and to the ice. The linesmen are quick to jump in after that.

Comments: Boychuck takes a run at Derrick Meech, causing Bootland to go after Boychuck. The two drop the gloves and quickly tie each other up at the blueline. Bootland throws a short right just before Boychuk hammers Bootland to the ice with five hard rights. Boychuck gets another right in just as the linesmen are coming in to break things up.
