Comments: Earlier in the period, Dan Cloutier kicked Tim Connolly in the head. Steve Webb went after Cloutier after a whistle and while they were being broken up by the refs (and Cloutier threw a "sucker-punch" even by the AP while being broken up), Cairns and Simpson started going. Simpson takes a couple and winds up with a broken jaw. Other Penalties: Webb received a slashing, roughing and misconduct; Cloutier a roughing; Cairns and Simpson each received a game misconduct.
