Travis Moen (ANA) |
Jamal Mayers (STL) |
| Comments: Right after the faceoff the two exchange words and drop the gloves with Mayers grabbing onto Moen only to quickly let go. They square off and Mayers shakes off both of his elbow pads while Moen is content to just tuck his shoulder pad back into his jersey. Moen throws two rights just before he has to go onto the defensive against a charging Mayers. Moen throws a couple of more rights to the back of Mayers' head while Mayers struggles to get going. Moen then connects with a flurry of six straight rights and Mayers falls to the ice, bringing Moen down with him. The linesmen come in and separate the two with Mayers having to skate away sporting a cut on the back of his head. |

Shawn Thornton (ANA) |
Matt Walker (STL) |
| Comments: Behind the play, the two drop the gloves and lock horns next to the side boards. Theyexchange a couple of locked-out rights until Thornton lands three short rights to the side of Walker's head. Walker comes back with a right and they go back and forth with some more rights. Thornton takes time to shake off his elbow pad, allowing Walker to push him into the glass and throws five overhand rights with two of them landing. Thornton returns fire with a left followed by a mix of rights and uppercuts while Walker tries to move away from the flurry. They go back and forth with body punches and Thornton throws a left just before Walker loses his balance and goes spinning to the ice, allowing the linesmen to step in. |

Matt Walker (STL) |
| Comments: Walker sends Moen sprawling to the ice with a hip check along the boards. Moen gets up and challenges Walker who obliges. They drop the gloves and Walker immediately grabs ahold of Moen. The two wrestle around up against the glass until Walker gets free and throws four long rights. Walker gets Moen's helmet off and throws two more rights just before Moen gets in a short shot of his own. They grapple for a short moment and Walker throws six overhand rights to the side and back of Moen's head, who holds on until Walker stops throwing and the linesmen are able to come in. |
